Non-existant?

Are you saying that you don't think "A" William Shakespeare ever existed? Or do you think that they just used his name because he was respected in the theatre at the time?
The scholars of yesteryear are pretty sure he existed (given the records from schools, the Globe, etc). So are you saying he did the Milli Vanilli thing? I find this extremely hard to believe only for one main reason. WHY? Perhaps there is a logical explanation, like certain people couldn't be writers or something to that effect.
Again, are you saying Wm Sh never existed or just put his name on someone else's work?

In my junior year of high school, my English prof had a theory that ALL the actors in the Globe and its company contributed to the works together. I feel that's a possibly. Perhaps they just decided to elect William as their leader and put his name on everything. What do you think?
