Tough question--no easy answer. Your best chance is to go to a good university with an established, fairly traditional English Department, and then spend every summer working with a major Shakespeare Festival. There's so much spurious Shakespeare teaching out there, you're often better off going where it's DONE well (San Diego, Ashland, for example) than where it's merely TAUGHT.Posted by Dakin on March 28, 1997 at 20:53:02
