I live in Brazil, and I think I'll need to wait a long time to see this movie too. Although I have heard and read about it at the news channels of my cable television (CNN, CBS, etc) and at the Internet, and althoug this movie had some nominations for the Oscar, he local press of my country don't say a word about it. I have serached the Internet Movie Database and in this site is said that the release date for Branagh's Hamlet in Brazil was 28/02/97. But believe me, until now, it isn't in any movie theater, and I haven't seen at least any poster or notice of it. All what we have in the movie is the comercial success of the year (that is: The English Pacient, Evita, Stars Wars Special Edition, Jerry Maguirre, etc...nothing against these movies, some of it are really wonderfull, but I think Hamlet deserves a little more space in the media).Posted by Cristina on March 31, 1997 at 10:47:40
