I'm sorry, but Branagh as Hamlett sucks!

I love Branagh! I fell in love with him as Henry V! I loved his Iago! But he makes a very pompous, arrogant Hamlet. I was so excited to see this production, but was gravely disappointed. Hamlet is a character you are supposed to love. He was wronged and he's suffering. But Branagh's Hamlet is an ass and I couldn't fell sorry for him and his struggles.

Just my opinion. I'm interested in more input.

I'm still glad I saw it, but don't be so upset that it may take a while to get to you.
