lawyer's backs

The speaker is Jack Cade, whom Shakespeare seems to look upon
as a reactionary luddite. On evidence, Shakespeare himself
was not only a great lawyer but certainly one of the greatest
judges who ever penned an opinion. Not surprisingly, the Stratford
myth of authorship becomes an impediment to recognizing this.
Amont other distinguishing features this ideology, particularly
in America, is deeply an fundamentally anti-intellectual.

Lawyers should at least watch the moral health of their industry
as long as the intellectual sandards and cartesian alienation
preached by the Stratfordians remains in force.
