Don't wait for the video

The film is definitely worth seeing, and this is
one of those which really should be seen in a theatre.
Branagh tended to use every inch of the "wide screen"
ratio, and any version on video is going to lose a lot
in the translation.

On my second viewing, I was able to concentrate on
many of the elements, and a "pan and scan" job will seriously
marr this work. Even a video which leaves the original
film ratio (and substitutes those bands at the top and botton
of your cathode ray tube) will lose so much of the sweep and
grandeur of several scenes.

If at all possible, see it in a theatre.
