You MUST see the movie in a theater. The big screen really brings the action to a higher level. Branagh's interpretation makes you think about your own when you re-read the play itself. The fact that he omitted nothing made it that much better.
I agree with a previous answer that there were a few sceens where Branagh may have let his ego go a little overboard, but they don't take away from the rest of the film. The casting was interesting, he chose actors to play roles that you wouldn't expect from them, but works very well (i.e. Robin Williams as Orsic).
