Shakepeare's plays

Exactly. Why hinder the interpretation of the arts and especially the great works of Shakespeare by saying it wouldn't be right if it weren't in the right time period!!!! Let's let directors and actors interpret Shakespeare the way they want. One of the great things about Shakespeare was the fact that he gave few stage directions. Shakespeare was an actor and understood that he was writing plays to be performed, not conformed. Who are we to say how it should be performed.
