Oxfordians take known facts about the author's life and
apply it to the work in order to learn more about that work.
The facts about his life are not in question, only his
connection to the work. Oxfordians are convinced Oxford
did write the work, and therefore work in the same manner
you list above as perfectly valid. But more below...
