Where can I find some stuff on comic heroes?

I have looked all over and can't find much. I have tons of
sources with stuff here and there but I can only use ten sources
on my paper. I need some high quality sources, anybody have any
ideas? Also any info about comic heroes in general would be highly
appreciated also. I can also do my paper on Falstaff as a typical
comic hero. My defintion of a hero is a central character that t
is the focal point of the attention of the audience.
