Well, maybe

Never thought of it that way, but your examples aren't very convincing. His biblical allusions are usually far more explicit and unambiguous, and concepts like innocence-lost are generic; they don't point exclusively to the bible. To me (and I have absolutely no research to support this), it SOUNDS more like the language and referents of folk tales and folk wisdom.
