Good start

You're off to a good start, but remember that the idea of a foil is not just that they have things in common, but that seeing them side-by-side makes us aware of things (presumably about Hamlet, since he's our main interest) that we wouldn't notice without the comparison. So, for example, we might think that Hamlet is not handling his father's death very well until we see that Ophelia, in a similar situation, handles it much worse, so Hamlet begins to look a little better. Think of other ways the comparison shows us things about Hamlet.
