Hero

By definition, a tragic hero is a good-but-not-perfect figure who undergoes a fall that is to some degree the result of his own actions and that evokes the large and complex emotional responses of tragedy. Assuming for the sake of argument that MACBETH is a tragedy, then only Macbeth fits the bill. Who else could it be?
