What you need

Is not documentation and research you want, but an undrestanding of why some people think there's a question. Since the Shakespeare establishment doesn't think there's a question, you won't get much of a discussion but pooh-poohing. Try, therefore, the homepage of the Shakespeare Oxford Society (www.shakespeare-oxford.com). Their principal aim is to convince that the 17th Earl of Oxford wrote Shakespeare -- but the site also contains a number of documents that summarize the initial doubts about the Shakespeare authorship. Cast about there, and then if you wish to conclude that they are, in your mind, baseless, you can at least do so from an informed perspective.
