Why sonnet XVIII is considered one of Shakespeare's best sonnets?

I have noticed that the quick passage
of time occurs often in Shakespeare's plays. He presents
it in XV and XVII. When you reach sonnet XVIII, the sonnet
has obviously achieved higher poetic quality. Why, out of curiosity
is sonnet XVIII considered one of his best?
