Being free in The Tempest

What does it mean to be free in The Tempest?
Yes, I have thought about it. I feel that it mostly comes down to sins (slavery to one's self) and the characters' needs and attachments to one another. Gonzalo is free when compared to Antonio for these reasons. My other thoughts are even less original than the ones mentioned above. I'd appreciate an help.

Thanks!
