I agreee that Enobarbus was, like Antony, torn between two poles. His loyalty to Antony is certainly one of those, but I'm not entirely convinced that his love of Rome was the other. He left Antony to save his own hide (although it was A's unpredictable actions that drove him to do so). Maybe it would be more apt to say that he was forced to choose between Antony and himself (?)
