a few of the differences ...

Well, for starters, there's the setting :
R&J: 16th Century Verona, WSS: 1950's NYC
Then there's the main conflict:
R&J: family vs. family, WSS: Puerto Ricans vs. Whites
The Marriages:
R&J: R&J marry; she fakes her death to avoid marrying Paris; WSS: T&M plan to marry, but never do & Chino finds out about them
The couple's helper:
R&J: the friars, WSS: the storeowner & Anita

There's more, but you'll have to do SOME work yourself!
