What is King Lear really thinking as he's running out of Gloucester's house and into the storm?

As Lear is running out into the storm (2.4.259+), does anyone else see this as a point of realization? Is this a turning point? Does this speech by Lear tell of upcoming events? My opinion is pretty solid on this, but if no one else sees it, chances are my Prof won't either...
