Of course Desdemona was strong. She was in love with a man
governed by jealousy, but she was in love. Up to her dying
breath she protected him. This has got to be respected. I
think that she is wonderful; compare her to Emilia, Emilia
foils Desdemona. Desdemona is the only character that
