Macbeth

Rather than debate the point (It IS debatable), let's help you make your thesis. Look very closely at Macbeth in the first witch scene, and the way his mind leaps instantly from "You'll be king" to "I'll have to kill Duncan." Look at Lady M in the letter scene; her mind does the same thing. There's evidence you can use to show that they make the decision themselves, and even that they've thought about it before.
