After recently seeing Branagh's Hamlet a question that one of my professors raised to us in class started me wondering what happened to Horatio after he witnessed the death of Hamlet? Did he go mad eventually or did he resume his life at court as an aid to Fortinbras or did he journey back to Wittenburg? From some research that I have been doing, I haven't discovered much about the topic of Horatio anywhere other than the usuaul comments about his being "a scholar, soldier, and a good friend of Hamlet". If anyone has any ideas about Horatio's outcome or where I can find out more about this wise, yet often overlooked character I'd enjoy hearing any response. Thanks.
