Look at a thesis on Hamlet's insanity. It's cliche however, when looked at through the eyes of C.G.Jung you will find that Hamlit was depressed NOT insane. "Neurosis is always an excuse for legitimate suffering"--Carl Jung--Collected Works. Hamlet, swaorn to revenge his fathers death actually vexes throughout the play on whether or not to fallow through with it (Unlike Antigone and the rest before Hamlet).
