Some critics have said that there was homosexual motives in Iago toward Othello..

The play was perfomed in Italy and homosexualatiy would be more accepted
in the city of passion and love and feelings...Iago never wanted
D, but he was jealous of Othello for loving D. Othello did not
about Iago's homosexual feelings and that is how it is played off
that Iago is is turmoil with himself and his jealousy, as you can i
imagine is split many different ways
