Death of Caesar

Julius Caesar was stabbed in the Senate, as the play depicts. Shakespeare took the details from Plutarch's __Lives__, and only added drama to what he kept, he did cut out some of Ceasar's actions. The excuse for his death was his ambition, if that makes him tragic is up to you.
