Act IV, Scene 5, Friar Lawrence, verse 71-89:
I have to analyse the language used by the character,
1. WHAT is siad, HOW it is said, WHY it is said,
2. how the language reveals information about the character's personality, mood, motivation at that point,
3. examine imagery, figures of speech, etc., dictation levels,
4. are there any significant sounds, puns, if so, why,
5. consider all the ways language can communicate ideas, determine what ways of communicating are used in this passage, point them out and explain why they are important.I hope that this is detailed enough. Please help, and thanks in advance!!!
