Really?

If this is supposed to develop his human side, then it doesn't work.
He turns Falstaff away and causes his death in HenryIV Part 2 and Henry V,
And he hangs Bardolph in Henry V even though he could have given a royal
pardon. I don't have time right now, or I'd elaborate further, but
those are a couple of examples of how Hal fails to develop this.
