Imagine...

...that you were a fairly sheltered girl, used to being ordered about by your father. Your boyfriend starts acting oddly, and instead of sympathizing, your father makes you help spy on him. Said boyfriend then blows up, cursing you out and recommending a cloistered life. Then the boyfriend kills your father and leaves the country under mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, your only other relative is also out of the country. Now, why are you acting so oddly?
