In my tenth grade English class, I have been assigned to be a defense attorny in a mock trial of the murder of Caesar. We have been studying the play for some time now and I am preparing my list of wtnesses, probable questions to ask them, and opening statements. I would appreciate a few original ideas as to present my case. My job is not to prove that Brutus did not kill Caesar but to justify the murder as an act of war. Brutus had just cause. He went along with the conspirators to better Rome for the people; to rid Rome of a future tyrant. Thank you for your input.
