Succession and Elizabethan times relating to Hamlet

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody had any good insight on how Hamlet
reflected the times in Englad during the reign of Queen Elizabeth.
I have to compare the concept of succession in the play to what
people in England were thinking about during the last years of
Queen Elizabeth and who would succeed her. If anybody has any
good insight into this topic or a way to improve or make the topic
more focused let me know.
