Iago has a single purpose from which he will not deviate. Perhaps a poor choice of words. His focus never wanes. I am sure that some sports figures that let nothing stand in their way, or, professionals in any field, that have that will to succeed at whatever the cost are similar. Iago pursued evil, which in modern terms may apply only to something like drug lords or mafia types. Perhaps local gangs today could show that lack of feeling toward anything. By that I mean they will kill without conscienceI don't know if that is any help, but if I can find some referencews to villainy I will try to get those to you too. They might be of more help
