You're right.

Another way to elaborate on the things are not always as they seem theme would be to use the quote "fair is foul and foul is fair". Also when Macbeth sees Banquo's ghost and nobody else can or when Burnham Wood appears to move. You might also want to mention the apparitions that the witches show to Macbeth. They all symbolise something important in the plot, but Macbeth does not know it yet.
