A great suggestion I have is to READ THE ORIGINAL TEXT!!! Looking
for other writers' responses to a text is a very credible way
to write a paper. However, I think it is VERY important to
read the original text and formulate your own opinions on the
matter. I hope you have read both Oedipus Rex *and* Hamlet.
Oedipus Rex is short, simple and sweet.
As far as other outside texts, I have nothing new to add to the
list. All I am saying is that reading the original of whatever
text you may be talking about is crutial and I think a lot of
us forget that. . .
Good Luck!!Posted by Todd on April 06, 1997 at 11:57:48
