Nixon-Macbeth

Get some Newsweek or Time magazine microfilms on Nixon using codeword Watergate. Then get interviews with Nixon from after he left office (I think these were done late 80's) from same source. Look for statements in quotes by other parties where they talk about Nixon's thinking he was above the law and that it didn't apply to him. Look at how he felt about the office itself and how much he wanted it. He felt cheated in 1960 when "rich Kennedy" bought the office and the election. What things was Nixon willing to do? Look for the people he hired to do them and which of his supporters crossed the line for him. Now look back at the play. What did Macbeth desire? How did he go about getting it? Who assisted him? Who was hurt in the process? How does the Nixon-Watergate situation end for Nixon? How does the play end for Macbeth?
