Shakespeare's burial

Shakespeare is buried (not entombed) in the chancel (space in front of the altar) of Holy Trinity Church in Straford-upon-Avon, England. I would assume that he is buried the traditional six feet deep. It is impossible to say for sure since the stone on the grave carries a curse:
Good friend for Jesus' sake forbear
To touch the dust enclos-ed here...
Curst be he that moves these bones.

The inscription was intended to ensure that the corpse was not moved to make way for another burial, a widely held practice at the time.
