Proof by contrapositive

In discussing the filmed Hamlets of the last thirty years, people have had an understandable tendency to forget a version by Nichole Williamson (ca. 1970), which, if I remember right, was claustrophobic, dark, and deadly -- pretty much the opposite of how you want to adpat a play to film.
