It's been a while, but isn't "manliness" a recurring subject of discussion in the play? His mother has her definitions of manhood, which he tries to project onto her grandson; Cor feels infantilized when he gives into her pleas; and isn't manliness or unmanliness a topic of discussion between Cor and Aufidius, especially when they become friends?Posted by Hamlet on April 10, 1997 at 10:59:04
