The answer from the expert

I went mad, hamlet killed my father and denounced me. What was I supposed to do? Just cry and get over it. YThe mental anguish of your lover calling you what Hamlet called me, and then the discovery that he has killed my father. In addition to this, I betrayed him and felt that perhaps I was the cause of his madness. This is my opinion. Ophelia is a very puzzling character, but her actions are like those of most people in her situation. What would you do. She either killed herself on purpose, perhaps to spite Hamlet--or she was mad and unintentionally drowned.
