"OTHELLO"

I have just started reading "Othello" and I have to write an essay that is due April, 28. Here is a brief description of what I need my essay to include: analyze the universal human concept of a single character from "Othello". Then focus on the conceptual trait which motivates, for better or for worse, that individual. It should provide a working definition of the examined trait; provide an explanation of it's characteristics and funtioning' and clearly delineate both its positive and negative aspects. I need to support with quotes and events from the text. I also want to include some commentary relating it to today. I know this is a lot but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!
