I am writing a term paper on Act1 Sceneii, where the Queen
speaks for the first time and attempts to console Hamlet.She
asks Hamlet why he SEEMS to be making such a fuss (wearing
black, ect) 2 months after his fathers death. Hamlet loses it
and says he is not in a state of SEEMING, but rather a state of
BEING. THOUGHTS??? FAMILY DISFUNCTION? SEVERE DEPRESSION?
WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PROPER MOURNING FOR HAMLET IN THIS
