Jonson vs Shakespeare (was jonson appeal)

Ok Cloten (and anyone else interested enough), I’m gonna sound really shallow here. These are the areas which I’ve narrowed down in my study of Shakespeare and Jonson:

1)the representation of women and how they express (if any) differing/similar views on misogyny
2)the use and functions of minor characters
3)differing moral intent/s
4)clown/fool figure (where in jonson?)
5)the different use/presentation of opening scenes and how they condition what follows
6)difference in formal characteristics between the two dramatists
7)function/characterisation of the ‘outsider’ figure
8)character development/non-development
9)acts of creativity/character(s) as source of imaginative impulse
10)*****comic method/use of comic device*****
11)significance of voyeurism
12)significance of repentence

Questions:
Am I looking in the right direction?
Am I missing anything?
I don’t seem to have any problem singling these out from the Sakespeare texts (12nite,MofVenice,MSND,Shrew &Much Ado) But I can’t quite get into Jonson (Volpone,Alchemist) and draw comparisons/contrasts. And when I do, it’s only to make sweeping, generalised statements, which isn’t good news, since I’m looking at the points from an exam-oriented (aggressively!) point of view.
Anyone?
