i'd have to recommend Othello obviously. Iago is credited
with being honest without question. his word is gold. but
when desdemona tries to justify herself she can not do so.
she is incapable of providing evidence enough to support her
claims.king lear comes to mind. edmund is much like iago who is
believed without question whereas edgar must play by the
rules in act 3 scene 7, i believe where he can not reveal
his true identity.and i think and obvious display of evil would be macbeth, but
