Sight imagery found in King Lear as compared to sight imagery in Oedipus Rex.

In Shakspeare's King Lear, the refrence of having or lacking the ability to see clearly is refered to often. This can also be traced in Sophocles Oedipus Rex. How do these to plays use this imagery to convey a certain idea or principle, whether it be madness, lack of insight, ect.? I need help finding lines with in the play of King Lear supporting such sight imagery. Any thoughts on how this idea coincides with both plays would also be helpful.
