I'm writing a paper on the role of sexual transgression in the
construction and gendering of evil in Lady Macbeth, Gertrude, and
Goneril and Regan. I'm having problems really thinking that
Gertrude is actually evil. I'm also having a little trouble
finding quotes that would really apply. Any help for any of the
four women i.e. ideas about various ways of transgressing, the
nature of evilness in any of them, etc would be greatly appreciated.
If you think you can help but want more specifics, email me. Thanks.Posted by Jenessa on April 15, 1997 at 14:26:35
