Well, as an example, in Hamlet, Polonius asks Hamlet "What are you reading, my lord?" and Hamlet replies "Words." Also, in Much Ado About Nothing, the whole idea is about an innocent girl being denounced by a man corrupted by his lord's evil brother. That's pretty serious. Those are just a ouple examples.
