A really great source for info on Shakespeare is Marchette Chute's book "Shakespeare of London," published by Dutton in 1949. On the cover it calls itself "a unique account of Shakespeare's life and times," and it really is! It goes into explicit detail about his entire life, his plays, and the publishing of his plays done by John Heminges and Henry Condell (former members of an acting company with Shakespeare & James Burbage). It's a really wonderful source! Sorry, there's no ISBN number, but give this info to your local bookstore and maybe they can find it:Chute, Marchette. SHAKESPEARE OF LONDON. New York: E.P. Dutton Co., Inc., 1949.
