Macbeth; searching for a microcosm in the Macbeth.

What is a microcosm? Good question,:) according to my roommate,
it is a community or other unity that is an epitome of a
larger unity. I've been looking to find a portion of the text
which epitomizes the whole play. Something which illuminates
the rest of the play. I was thinking in ' fated one' direction.
Something similar to Oedipus' fate of human being wrestling with
gods.
