Romeo marries Juliet

I may be wrong, but in all of the R&J interpretations I have read, Romeo and Juliet were secretly married in Friar Lawrence's cell.
If you recall, Romeo proposed marriage in the balcony scene. Juliet promised to send a messenger to see whether Romeo was telling the truth.
She sent her nurse the next morning and there Romeo gave her directions. Juliet was to leave for confession and go to Friar Lawrence's cell
where the two can be married. And that night, after killing Tybalt, Romeo is sent into exile, but he spends one night with his new wife (in secret of course).
You can correct me if I'm wrong, but I am certain this is what happened.
