Sure it's the best interpretation, if you like severely truncated speeches spoken by people who can't speak the speech trippingly, and major distortions of thematic content. It may be a tasty introduction to the bard, but is sure as taurine excrement ain't an interpretation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, regardless of what the producers titled it.
