and if, as I said elsewhere, the Earl of Oxford was
Shakespeare, then what he have is Ferdinand Stanley
patronizing the company of players, and later
William Stanley, the younger brother, marries the Earl
of Oxford's daughter. A play is put on at their wedding
which certain people think was Midsummer Night's Dream.
William Stanley is so active in the theater and noted
as a playwright that he has been seriously considered
as author of the plays himself.
